Extraordinary tour with a very interesting route, as you enter a section of the Peruvian Amazon jungle to admire the wonderful fauna and flora of the region. Includes hiking, bicycle stretches, adventure sports (optional), then enroute to the wonderful Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, but first passing through the Hydroelectric and other typical places located on the way.

Start in the city of Cusco and then visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to admire its attractions; bike ride through the Cloud Forest, visit to the archaeological complex of Huamanmarka; from there we will enter a little bit in the Peruvian Amazon forest to admire the flora and animals typical of the region. Optionally you can practice adventure sports. Then the tour changes direction to the route that leads to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, but on the way we will pass through places of great interest such as the Hydroelectric and the village of Aguas Calientes. The tour at the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu will take 2 hours, after which the return to the city of Cusco begins, passing first through the beautiful district of Ollantaytambo. Detailed Itinerary

    DAY 1: CUSCO - SANTA MARÍA

    We will pick you up from the hotel between 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. by car, and depart in the direction of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful and picturesque natural attractions. After about an hour and a half we will stop at the village of Ollantaytambo, where you can have breakfast; then continue by car for about an hour until we reach the Abra Málaga (4.316 meters asl) where we begin the descent on bicycle through the Cloud Forest. After about an hour and a half we will stop in Huamanmarka, an archaeological center where the professional guide will explain us widely about this place; then continue along beautiful fruit fields and rivers. We will arrive at Santa Maria between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, and sleep in a basic lodge.

    DAY 2: SANTA MARÍA - SANTA TERESA

    We will get up at 7:00 am and after a restful breakfast we will start the hike along the river bank. We are going to witness during the way a variety of animals of the region like birds (parrots, hummingbirds, eagles) and wildcats; also medicinal and fruit plants. Then arrival at the small village called Quellomayo, where we will rest and have lunch; then there will be a hike for about 3 more hours until we reach the next lodge in Santa Teresa, where we will spend the second night.

    DAY 03: SANTA TERESA - AGUAS CALIENTES

    Breakfast will be at approximately 8:00 am; those who like to do zipline optional activities (not included), will have time for it and then we will start the hike at approximately 10:00 am towards the Hydroelectric and then to the village of Aguas Calientes.

    DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

    In the morning at 5:00 am we will wake up and at 5:30 am we will go to the most important archeological complex of Peru, Machu Picchu, a hike of approximately 55 minutes, to reach the checkpoint and enter. Once inside we will go to the top of the marvelous citadel to start the professionallyguided tour of approximately 2 hours; then you will have free time to enjoy Machu Picchu on your own. After that, depending on the time of your train return ticket, you must go down to Aguas Calientes and the professional guide will help you with indications so that you have no problems returning to Ollantaytambo; at the station of Ollantaytambo our staff will be waiting who will take you back to the city of Cusco on a minivan.
