Our adventure begins in the morning with the beautiful Inca - Colonial town of Chinchero (3.762 meters asl), where you will enjoy the very interesting architecture composed by the combination of Inca legacies and Spanish colonial still standing and of current use of the settlers. In addition you will be able to appreciate the beautiful artistic textile made by the weavers dedicated to this activity. Then we will go to the archaeological complex of Moray, located in the district of Maras (3.300 meters asl); in this place you can appreciate the most impressive and unique Inca agricultural laboratory, where they could experiment in a single site with different geographic altitudes for the maximum use of crops. The history of Moray is very impressive and the panoramic view is even more so. In the same district of Maras, we will visit the salt mines, beautiful place where we will find a group of approximately 3.000 wells that the settlers still use and of which they benefit; you will not regret enjoying the beautiful scenery that awaits you there.
Our next stop will be Urubamba (2.871 meters asl), where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and get ready to continue our trip. Then we will go to the village of Ollantaytambo (2.792 meters asl), called "Living Inca Village" because it is the only typical inca place that is still inhabited; in this place you will also be impressed with the extraordinary Inca urban planning which is still used by the current population. The streets of Ollantaytambo will impress and delight you, we can assure this, it is a journey back in time to the Inca past as it was. Next we will go to the last but not least important point, Pisac (2.900 meters asl), one of the most important agricultural and spiritual centers of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The archaeological complex, from which you can see the mighty Vilcanota river and much of the Sacred Valley, will leave you pleasantly surprised; then we will head to one of the most popular and economical craft markets in the Cusco region. Finally our comfortable transportation will leave us in the city of Cusco, after a fascinating tour through the geography of the Peruvian Andes and its Inca and Spanish colonial history.
